Benq aggiornare firmware iXtreme lt plus
In questo post spiego come aggiornare il firmware del lettore BenQ dell’xbox360, portandalo alla versione iXtreme LT+ 1.1. L’operazione porta via circa 30 minuti, anche meno, basta fare tutto con calma ed avere gli strumenti giusti. Ricordo che comunque gli ultimi giochi wave5 – wave6 vanno comunque patchati prima di essere masterizzati altrimenti non partiranno. A seguito della guida per aggiornare il lettore sono presenti anche le istruzioni per il patch dei giochi..
Do per scontato che sappiate aprire l’xbox 360, ecco quindi i prerequisiti.
Prerequsiti software:
- JungleFlasher – Ultima versione scaricabile:
http://www.jungleflasher.net/downloads.html - Firmware Hacked iXtreme LT+ 1.1 per il BenQ (LTPlus-benq-v1.1.bin) – scaricabile qui:

Prerequisiti hardware:
- Xbox 360 con lettore Benq
- Scheda pci-sata vt 6421a o motherboard con chipset sata compatibile
Procedura di aggiornamento firmware lettore Benq Xbox 360
- Dopo aver installato JungleFlasher copiate il file firmware lt 1.1 dentro la cartella “firmware” di JungleFlasher
- Spegnete il pc e collegate con il cavo Sata il lettore Benq ad una porta sata, io ho usato la scheda pci-sata vt 6421a quindi ho collegato il cavo sata alla scheda.
- Collegate il case del pc e il case dell’xbox con un cavetto in modo da prevenire scariche elettrostiche.
- Accendete il Computer, con windows vista e 7 bisogna premere f8 all’accensione del pc e scegliere “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement“ (ultima voce). Questa procedura và eseguita ad ogni riavvio del pc.
- Se utilizzate la scheda pci-sata vt 6421a i driver della scheda devono essere installati correttamente, la scheda deve essere quindi attiva e funzionante, windows deve riconoscerla correttamente.
- Avviate JungleFlasher e posizionatevi sulla scheda “MTK Flash 32“, accendete l’xbox e aspettate qualche secondo.
- Selezionate I/O Port fino a quando il lettore non viene riconosciuto.
- Una volta che il lettore è stato riconosciuto correttamente và unlockato, per farlo basta far uscire il carrello del lettore ritirarlo dentro e tenerlo fermo con la mano poco prima che si chiuda. Tenetelo fermo fino a che non rimante bloccato. A questo punto premete il pulsante “Benq Unlock” .
- A questo punto se tutto è andato per il verso giusto cliccate sul pulsante “Intro/Device ID” per inziare la procedura di flash.
- Cliccate poi su “Read” per salvare il vostro firmware sul disco, verrà mostrata anche la chiave, fate attenzione che non sia composta da lettere o numeri tutti uguali, in quel caso rifate la lettura.
- Dopo la lettura vi verrà chiesto se utilizzare il firmware trovato nella cartella “firmware”, rispondete di si, verrano così copiate le informazioni del vostro lettore sul nuovo firmware lt .1.1. Questa è l’operazione di “Spoof”.
- Tornate nella scheda “MTK Flash 32” e clicate sul pulsante “Erase” e poi “Write“, attendete il completamento dell’operazione. Se la verifica è andata a buon fine spegnete l’xbox e il pc, staccate tutto e verificate il funzionamento del lettore con qualche copia di backup. Per verificare che la scrittura sia andata a buon fine dalla scheda “MTK Flash 32” cliccate sul pulsate “Read” e verificate che tutte le opzioni siano impostate correttamente (tipo firmware, ket etc..)
Per rendere questa guida ancora più semplice ecco un video che ho trovato su youtube, il filmato è davvero chiaro. Consiglio di guardarlo prima di iniziare le operazioni di flash:
Allego anche il log completo delle operazioni che ho eseguito, in fase di verifica ricevevo sempre fail, ho ripetutto più e più volte le operazioni e il risultato era sempre lo stesso. Facendo la verifica manuale però sembrava tutto a posto, così ho chiuso tutto e ho testato il lettore e ovviamente funzonava..ehhe.

Ciao Crocco, ho comprato proprio ieri la nuova xbox 360 slim. Sicuramente ancora non è possibile modificarla ma volevo sapere come faccio a sapere di che marca è il lettore? Bisogna per forza smontarla o esistono altri metodi?
Inoltre se la collego ad internet e mi scarica un aggiornamento posso compromettere la possibilità di sblocco?
